WE HAVE ARRIVED!!!  If you are reading this, then you are a part of history. This is the very first blog entry for Keller Leopold Insurance Agency. With that said I think it is important to share with you a little bit of our journey that got our agency to this point in technology.

It all began in early 2011 with the idea that our website needed an update, and at the very least we needed to explore a foray into the social media realm.  From that conversation came a new logo with new colors and theme, a built from the ground up website and social media platform, along with an excitement to share with our customers and potential customers more about Keller Leopold Insurance. 

When it came to the specifics of the website we were determined to make it a resource for all who visit.  Insurance is sometimes considered one of those necessary evils, that at the same time is very confusing, as a result most people know very little about their insurance.  And that is ok that is why we are here as an agency.  We also know the demands of people’s schedules and the availability of technology allow and almost demand that consumers access information in hours that our storefront is not open.  Because of that very fact we want to be the agency that gives our customers a point of contact in those off hours. 

Now, as for the idea of social media, this idea was met with great debate.  The debate centered around its effectiveness and the time requirement.  No one could argue about the popularity of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, but there is always a legitimate concern about how effective it will be.  In the end we found that Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and our blog will work nicely in achieving our goals.  Those goals were simple.

1. To educate our consumer base.
2. To share our Keller Leopold Culture
3. To engage our customers to participate in our culture.
4. To entertain.
